Privacy Policy

Effective August 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LaborLynk collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use laborlynk.com, LaborLynk accounts, and related LaborLynk services. It also explains the choices available to workers, employers, schools, training organizations, and visitors.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, such as your name, contact details, account credentials, profile information, work history, skills, credentials, education and training information, applications, messages, uploaded records, support requests, and organization information.

We also collect information created through your use of LaborLynk, such as saved opportunities, application and training activity, profile visibility choices, connections, verification activity, recommendations, and security or audit events. Some features may create derived information, such as readiness guidance, job or training recommendations, summaries, and structured information extracted from records for your review.

When you use LaborLynk, we may receive technical information needed to operate and secure the service, including browser or device type, IP address, timestamps, requested routes, diagnostic information, and security events.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure accounts; display the profile and workspace information you choose to share; support jobs, applications, training, credentials, messaging, recommendations, and verification; communicate about account and service activity; prevent fraud and abuse; troubleshoot and improve LaborLynk; comply with legal obligations; and enforce platform rules.

Automated tools may help organize records, identify possible profile updates, or suggest opportunities and next steps. These tools can be incomplete or incorrect. Suggested or extracted information remains subject to LaborLynk visibility rules and your review where the product provides a review step.

3. Profile, workspace, and record visibility

LaborLynk is private by default where the product identifies information as private. Your visibility settings determine who may discover or view governed profile information. Employer and school workspace administrators control authorized organization information, but they cannot override a worker's personal privacy choices.

Uploaded records, source documents, private proof files, private messages, admin notes, and raw extraction content are not public by default. Approving structured information for your profile does not publish the source file. You approve what appears publicly through the controls LaborLynk provides.

Information you intentionally publish, submit with an application, send in a message, or share with an authorized workspace may be visible to the people or organizations involved in that action. Public information may be indexed by search engines or copied by others outside LaborLynk.

4. How we share information

We share information with workers, employers, schools, training organizations, and other users when you direct us to do so or when it is necessary to provide a feature you use. The information shown depends on the relevant relationship, workspace authorization, application, visibility setting, and moderation status.

We may use service providers that host data, deliver communications, monitor security, provide storage or infrastructure, support customer service, or perform aggregate analytics. They may process information only for the services they provide to LaborLynk and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people or the platform, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce our terms, or respond to a valid legal process. Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.

5. Cookies and optional analytics

LaborLynk uses essential browser storage for sign-in, security, accessibility, consent choices, and core product functions. These essential technologies cannot be disabled through the LaborLynk preference panel because the service may not work correctly without them.

LaborLynk also uses optional first-party analytics and, when enabled for this environment, Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website traffic. Google Analytics loads only after you grant Analytics consent. Google Analytics may then use a first-party cookie and collect session statistics, approximate location, browser information, and device information.

LaborLynk sends Google Analytics sanitized page routes and referring domains without query strings, fragments, tokens, names, email addresses, LaborLynk user IDs, private object identifiers, or named-viewer identity. LaborLynk does not enable Google Analytics advertising, remarketing, Google Signals, user-ID tracking, or user-provided data under this policy.

Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Analytics browser opt-out add-on.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide LaborLynk, maintain security and audit history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention may vary by the type of information, the feature involved, account status, legal requirements, and legitimate operational needs. We may retain limited records after an account closes when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, and LaborLynk cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration will never occur. Protect your credentials and contact support if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

You can update many account and profile details, control profile visibility, manage optional analytics consent, and choose what information appears on governed public profile surfaces. You may withdraw Analytics consent at any time; future Google Analytics requests stop after that choice is saved.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of information, or exercise other rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law. Visit Data Deletion or email support@laborlynk.com to make a request.

9. Third-party services and organizations

LaborLynk may link to employers, schools, training providers, credential issuers, mapping services, or other third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Employers, schools, and other organizations may also independently process information they receive through an application, enrollment, message, or other authorized interaction.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as LaborLynk changes. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required by law or when a change materially affects your choices.
